Sustainable Development

Sustainable development means orienting one’s choices regarding raw materials to renewable sources of raw material whenever possible. Besides its capacity for natural renewal, wood differs fundamentally from competing raw materials in that its growth does not consume any of the increasingly limited global sources of energy.

Already today, innovative architects and constructors have adopted the use of timber/gluelam as a significant element in supporting structures and in building exteriors. People long more and more for basic, natural values. The sustainable use of raw materials will enable future generations to also satisfy their needs.
